About Me:David Garcia graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in May of 2021 and is currently pursuing a M.S. in the same field at the University of Florida (UF). He has experienced four internships throughout college with three different Fortune 50 companies: Microsoft, ExxonMobil, and Procter & Gamble. At UF, he participated in undergraduate research his sophomore and junior year regarding solar panel diagnostics in the electrical and computer engineering department under Dr. Harley. He has also been a member of SHPE, Sigma Chi Fraternity, and the UF’s Men’s Club soccer team. In his free time, David is an avid golfer, soccer player, music lover, and reader.

- Act as the representative of the interests of the Hispanics and Latinos in Electrical and Computer Engineering in meetings and before other organizations
- Conduct meetings of the Hispanics and Latinos in Electrical and Computer Engineering
- See that all provisions of this Constitution are followed
- Be present at any Student Government official hearings concerning Hispanics and Latinos in Electrical and Computer Engineering
- Help the new president transition to his/her new role
- Individually meet with each executive board member, mayor, and advisor at least once a semester
